I want to welcome to the blog today one of my favorite writers, Grace. Who just so happens to be my 7 year old daughter.
She brings you a short story today about her favorite animal: cheetahs. She & I hope you will enjoy her piece.
Grace has been published twice already in books created by she & her classmates. She loves writing & illustrating, video games, reading chapter books, Legos, swimming, & traveling. Grace also loves her family, former teacher, God, Jesus, & her friends.

Cheetahs
Cheetahs are the fastest mammal on land. A cheetah can reach speeds of 60 and 70 miles per hour. Cheetahs eat small-to-medium size animals such as hares,impalas,wildebeest calves and gazelles. Cheetahs are considered one of the big cats. Tigers,lions,leopards,jaguars and cougars are also part of this grouping.
I like cheetahs because they are graceful animals.

What a fantastic piece of writing! I enjoyed reading facts about cheetahs, and I loved that you included your opinion as well! Cheetahs are awesome. Did you know that cheetahs don’t roar, but they can meow and purr like house cats? I learned this the other day while watching a video on YouTube, and I thought about you 🙂 Keep writing because practice makes perfect! Love and miss you!
